One of the first heavy typographical pieces I did was the six page publication. I chose to research "strange health facts" and stories. The stories I read about were bizzare and unconventional. I wanted the art and design to match the feel of these stories so I started gathering up old life magazines from the 1930s and 1940s. Pulling a unique collection of images out of the resources I found I collaged different scenes that related to the stories within my publication. They gave off a strange feel compelling readers to give a double take to what they are looking at.
